- 4 boiled and mashed potatoes
- as required Chopped green chillies and curry leaves
- as required Ginger garlic paste
- as required Ajwain, mustard seeds and jeera
- as required Turmeric and salt and baking powder

- 1 packet pav
Instructions to make Vada pav
- Firstly, heat 1/2 tablespoon oil in kadhai, add jeera and mustard seeds and let it crackle than add curry leaves and chopped green chillies.
- Than add ginger garlic paste and mix.
- When the raw smell goes away than add mashed potatoes and mix it.
- Than add turmeric powder and salt and mix it completely.
- Let it cook for 10 minutes and take it out in a plate and let it cool down.
- In a big bowl, add besan,ajwain, pinch of turmeric powder and salt and baking powder and whisk it and with the help of water make a thick (not too thick) mixture.
- Make small balls from potato mixture and place it in a plate.
- Heat oil in kadhai, dip the potato balls in besan mixture and deep fry in oil.

- Serve it hot with pav and green chutney or garlic chutney.
