  18. as required Juice of one lemon
  19. Coarsely ground garam masala
  20. 6 cloves
  21. 10 peppercorns
  22. 1 " piece of cinnamon
  23. 1 black cardamom
  24. 5 green cardamoms
  25. 1 star anise
  26. 1 piece mace

Steps to make Keema Matar Masala

  1. To begin, add half a cup of water to the chicken mince. This ensures that the mince does not turn into lumps when cooking.
  2. Heat the mustard oil to smoking point and let it cool a bit.
  3. Add in a bay leaf. Add in the finely chopped onions and green chillies and saute until translucent.

  9. Once the liquid has dried up, saute some more.
  10. Finally, add in the crushed kasoori methi and mix well. Check the salt and add more if required. Adjust the gravy as per your taste.
  11. Finish with the juice of one lemon.
  12. The Keema Matar Masala is ready to serve. Garnish with chopped green coriander leaves and serve with paranthas or naans.
