- 1 kg beef qeema (mota wala)
- 2 big onions sliced
- 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 3_4 big tomatoes sliced
- Green and red chillies
- Some dhania
- Podina /mint leaves
- 1 lemon juice
- 5 eggs hard-boiled /as required
- 1/2 cup dahi
- Masalay:
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp haldi powder
- 2 tbsp dhania powder
- 1 tbsp red crushed chillies
- 2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1_2 tsp zeera powder
- 1 tsp Jaifal jawatri powder or crushed
- 6_8 Aloo bukharay /dry plums
- 1 tez patt /bay leaf
- 6 cloves /laung
- 4_5 Green Elaichi /Green cardamom
- 2 cinnamon sticks /dar chini
- 3_4 Star anise /badian
- Kewra water
- Can add 1 tbsp Sindhi biryani masala
- 3/4 cup oil or ghee
- For Rice :
- 750 gms basmat rice
- 2 tez paat
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1_2 star anise
- 1/2 tsp black zeera
- Few mint leaves
- 1 tbsp white Vinegar
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp orange food colour
Steps to make Chatpati Qeema Biryani
- Wash and soak rice according to instructions on packet. Wash and soak Aloo bukharay



- Hard boil eggs, cool and peel than slice them and keep aside.
- Heat oil add sabut garam masalay, add onions and white zeera. Fry onions to golden brown.



- Add ginger garlic paste and fry for few sec than add qeema and fry till its water dries (it removes qeema smell)



- Add masalay and cook, add 2 green chillies chopped and tomatoes in it with some water (1 cup) cover and cook. Keep stirring in between.






- When qeema is almost cooked add dahi and cook. Add Aloo bukharay, more green chillies, dhania Podina and bhunafy achi tarha. Add garam masala powder and lemon juice.
Qeema masala is ready. Masala should be spicy and with khatas. - Boil water add, tez pattay, black zeera, cinnamon stick, cloves and salt and when boiling well add soaked rice in it and mix well. Let boil come again
- After 5 mins add vinegar and mint leaves in it. When rice done nearly 1 kanni left, take all rice on a strainer.

- Make biryani layers :
In pot put some oil and little water than half quantity of boiled rice, qeema than arrange egg slices Podina and green chillies and sprinkle some orange colour.

- Than layer of rice and on top sprinkle zarda colour.
Now heat 2 tbsp oil when hot pour on rice layer. Put on dum. - This biryani is very delicious. Do try. Serve with raita and salad.
