- 1 cup fresh fenugreek leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup green peas (boiled)
- 50 gm Paneer
- 4 onions
- 1 tsp Garlic ginger Green chillies paste
- 1 tbsp melon seeds
- 6 cashews
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 clove
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 dry red chilli
- 1 tsp fresh malai
- 1/2 cup milk
- Oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions to make Methi Malai Matar Paneer
- Soak cashew nuts and melon seeds in warm water for half an hour. Then make paste of it.
- Now in a pan, heat some oil & add cardamom pods, clove & cinnamon & saute it. Then add onion, garlic ginger green chillies paste & saute it. Let it cool completely & then make a paste in mixer & strain it & keep aside.

- Now in the same pan, add oil/ ghee, add dry red chilli & add onion paste which we have made & saute it.
- Then add cashews paste & saute it. To adjust the consistently, add some milk. After few minutes, add boiled green peas, fenugreek leaves and mix it.

- Now add salt, sugar, garam masala & mix everything well. Let it cook for another few minutes till the fenugreek leaves are cooked well. Cover the lid.

- Now add paneer cubes & fresh malai to it & cook for another two minutes.


- The delicious methi malai matar paneer subzi is ready to serve. Have it with rotis, parathas or naan.
