  15. 8-9 curry leaves
  16. 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  17. 1 dry red chili
  18. 1/2 Tsp mustard seeds
  19. 1/2 Tsp cumin seeds
  20. 1 Tsp urad dal
  21. 1 Tsp chana dal
  22. 2 Tbsp roasted moongfali/groundnuts
  23. 1/2 Tsp ginger powder
  24. 1/2 Tsp curry powder
  25. 1/3 Tsp turmeric powder
  26. As required Salt
  27. As required Sambar as accompaniment

Steps to make Mixed Masala Dosa

  1. To make potato masala, heat oil and splutter mustard and cumin seeds.
  2. Add chopped onion, green chili, dry chili, and curry leaves. Saute till onions are soften
  3. Mix chana dal and urad dal and moongfali. Fry and add salt, turmeric powder, and mashed potatoes. Add half a cup of water and cook the potato masala. Now it's ready.
  4. Wash dal and rice many more than once and soak for 4-5 hours. Grind to paste and add the rest of the powered ingredients. Mix well and ferment overnight/for 5-6 hours.
  5. Add salt and sugar to the batter and mix well (after fermentation). Heat a pan/ tawa. Grease with vegetable oil. Then wipe with tissue paper. Sprinkle some water to bring down the temperature of the tawa.
    Spread a ladle full of batter. Grease the sides of the dosa with oil.
  6. Spread potato masala on the dosa. Serve the healthy and delicious masala dosa with sambar.
