- 2 Onion- big
- 8-9 Garlic

- 3 Kashmiri red chilli whole-
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder-

- 1 teaspoon Dhanyia jeera powder
- 1 tablespoon Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Kasuri methi-
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil-
- 1 tablespoon Ghee-
- pinch Orange food colour-
- 2 bowl Green moong dal boiled-
- 2 tablespoon Green garlic chopped-
- 1 teaspoon Jeera-
- 3 tablespoon Fresh meethi leaves chopped-
- 3 tablespoon Palak puree
- as per taste Salt
- 2 tablespoon Ghee-
- 1/4 teaspoon Hing
- 1 tablespoon Chat masal-
- 1 teaspoon Green chili paste
- 1 cup Basmati rice-
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
Steps to make Tricolour platter
- For Kashmiri paneer
Heat a kadai with oil in it - Add garlic, saute n add onion sliced,saute for a while, then add kaju, whole Kashmiri chilli,n tomato.
- Cook until soft,cool it n grind this to a paste.
- Now take kadai n add ghee, put this paste, then add dry masala like turmeric, red chilli, dhanyia jeera powder n garam masala powder. Add salt to taste. Mix it well n cook it till oil seprates. Now add paner cubes n add bit water. Add orange food colour. Kashmiri paneer is ready
- For harabhara moong dal
Boil the soaked moong dal, adding salt. - Then take kadai add ghee, add hing n jeera
- Now add fresh green garlic, saute for while, then add meethi leaves.
- Cook then add green chili paste, palak puree. Then add chat masala.
- Then add green moong dal, salt n cook for a while. Harabhara moong dal is ready to serve
- For steamed rice boil the basmati rice in water adding lemon juice.
Rice is ready - For platting first put a layer of Kashmiri paneer (orange),then add a layer of steamed rice (white) n finally put a layer of harabhara moong dal (green)
- Tricolour platter is ready to serve. Serve with tricolour salad
