Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Vrat ka Paratha:
- 1 cup singhara ata,
- 1/2 cup kuttu ata,
- as per taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder,
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,
- 1 cup boiled, mashed potatoes,
- as required Oil for frying,
Instructions to make Vrat ka Paratha
- Take a mixing bowl, add both the ata & salt, mix it well. Now add red chilli powder & garam masala powder, mix it again.
- In goes aloo, mix it thoroughly. Gradually add water, make med soft dough, keep aside.
- Take an Iron tawa (your choice), heat it. Take small portions of dough, roll it. Flatten it, add lil oil, seal the edges, make a ball.
- Now make med sized, lil thick Parathas. Spread some oil onto the tawa, moderate the flame.
- Place Paratha over the hot tawa, cook it until both sides become light brown.
- Now brush some oil on the upper side, flip it, do the same with the other side also. Cook it until both sides are brown.
- Take out in a serving dish, can be had along with Dahi..
