  14. 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  15. 1 cup Steamed Cauliflower, Carrot and French Beans
  16. 1/4 cup Frozen Peas
  17. 1/2 cup Boiled Rice
  18. as per taste Salt
  19. 1/2 Apple or Pineapple diced
  20. 1/2 Lemon Juice
  21. 1 tsp Sugar
  22. As needed Fried Onion

Instructions to make Navratan Pulao

  1. In a pre-heated wok add clarified butter and let it heat.
  2. Fry all the dry fruits, potatoes and cottage cheese one by one and keep it aside.
  3. Fry the whole spices, onion and ginger paste. Cook it nicely.
  4. Add steamed vegetables, frozen peas and fry them.
  5. Add boiled rice, potatoes, cottage cheese and apple cubes. Mix it well.
  6. Add lemon juice, salt and sugar and mix them.
  7. Add fried onion, fried dry fruits and saffron water.
  8. Cover the lid and let it cook for 5 minutes on a low flame.
  9. Garnish with fried onion, cottage cheese and dry fruits.
