  2. 1 cup chana dal
  3. 1 big onion finely chopped
  4. 1 tomato finely chopped
  5. 2 tbsp tamarind juice
  6. 1 tsp coriander powder
  7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 2 green chilli chopped
  9. as per taste salt
  10. as required Oil for cooking
  11. For jowar roti
  12. 2 cups jowar flour
  13. 1/2 cup chopped fresh green garlic
  14. 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  15. 4-5 green chillies
  16. 1 tsp dry pomegranate seed(coarsely grinded)
  17. as per taste Salt
  18. As Required Water to make dough
  19. 8-10 boiled arbi
  20. For raita
  21. 2 cup Curd
  22. as required Boondi
  23. As Required Onion rings

Instructions to make Sindhi Thali

  1. Wash and soak dal for 2 hrs
  2. Heat oil in pan. Add chopped onion Cook till light brown in colour.
  3. Add chopped tomato,dal, chopped green chillies,coriander powder,haldi powder and salt mix add water and cook till dal is cooked.add tamarind juice mix. Remove from fire.put dal in bowls.
  4. For jowar doda(roti)
    Take big bowl. Put jowar aata add chopped onion, finely chopped green garlic,green chillies, dry pomegranate seed and salt. make dough by adding water.keep aside for ten mnts.
  5. Heat griddle. Take small portion of dough and roll our small roti. Cook on medium heat till roasted both sides.
  6. Apply ghee or oil. remove from fire.
  7. Boil arbi in salted water peel.
    Heat oil in pan deep fry arbi till light brown.
  8. Remove press it little.again fry at medium heat till golden brown and crispy.remove.
  9. Sprinkle coriander powder,red chilli powder and dry mango powder on arbi.
  10. For Raita
    Take curd in bowl at salt, red chilli powder, chat masala powder mix add little water make it smooth.
  11. Add soaked boondi in curd mix.
  12. Take Thali put jowar doda,keep bowl of dal,bowl of raita, crispy arbi,onion rings and any sweet
  13. Thali is ready to serve.
