Ingredients and spices that need to be Get to make Shahi Malai Kofta Curry (Without Frying):
- 100 gm For Kofta : crumbled paneer
- 2 boiled grated potato (medium)
- 1 tbsp chopped cashews
- 1 tbsp raisians
- 1 tsp green chilli paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp desi ghee
- 1/4 cup For Gravy (curry) : cashews paste
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 inch chopped ginger
- 1-2 chopped green chilli
- 1/4 cup fresh malai/cream
- 2 tbsp whisk curd
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 black cardamom
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 2 bay leaf
- 2 cloves
- 5 whole black pepper
- 1 tsp or to taste salt
- 1 tsp Kashmiri lal mirch
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1 cup water
Steps to make Shahi Malai Kofta Curry (Without Frying)
- For Kofta : Take a plate add paneer make smooth with palm for 2-4 minutes.


- Add cornstarch,grated potato,, salt, red chilli powder,coriander leaves, ginger n green chilli paste mix well and make smooth dough.



- Divide in equal portions and make small balls. Take one paneer ball spread on palm and make cavity. Put few cashews and raisian in it. Close the edges. Same process apply to make all kofta. Now Coated with cornstarch. Keep aside.


- On simmer preheated the Appam pan. Greased all cavity and placed all kofta in it one by one. Grease all kofta. Cover the lid. Roast 2 minutes on simmer.


- Now flipped and cook for a minute until turns into golden brown. Switch off the flame. Transfer into plate.



- For Gravy : On medium flame heat desi ghee in a wok. Add all whole spices one by one when it crackled add ginger and green chilli saute 10 seconds.


- Add tomato puree saute. Now add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, sugar and kasuri methi mix well and cooked until ghee remove around the sides. Stir occasionally.


- Now add cashews paste and water mix nicely. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Add whisk curd gratudly on simmer. Stir continuously.


- Now add fresh cream mix well and cooked for a minute. Add gram masala and coriander leaves. Turn off the flame.


- Add Kofta. Mix smoothly. Now Shahi Malai Kofta Curry is ready to serve. Transfer into serving bowl. Serve with naan,tandoori roti etc. Enjoy!!
