- 6 slices bread
- For potato layer:
- 4 boiled and smashed potatoes (should be boiled before 6 hours)
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 6-8 tbsp bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp rice flour (this makes the pakodas more crispy)
- to taste Salt
- 1 tbsp kasuri methi
- Besan batter:
- 1 cup besan
- As required water
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- Other ingredients:
- as required schezwan chutney
- 6-8 onion slices
- 6-8 tomato slices
- as required Few capsicum
- 3 cubes processed cheese cut into half horizontally
- As per requirement oil for deep frying
- Served with:
- as required Tomato ketchup
- as required Green chutney
Instructions to make Cheesy Burger pakoda
- Cut the bread slices into round shape using a cookie cutter or a katori. Keep the aside and make the bread crumbs of the remaining part of the bread.
- For the potato layer:
Mix all the ingredients for the potato layer in a mixing bowl and keep it aside. - Besan batter:
Mix the ingredients for besan batter and keep it aside. The batter should not be too thick it should be flowy. - Assembling:
Place the bread slice on a surface and apply schezwan chutney on it. Now place an onion slice on it tomato slice, capsicum slice and then the cheese piece. - Now take a lemon size ball of the potato layer and make it flat. Cover the contents on the round bread slice completely. Make all the other cheesy burger pakodas similarly.
- Now dip the ready pakoda's bread slice portion in the besan batter and fry the pakodas on medium heat by first frying the potato layer side and then the bread slice portion. Make all the burger pakodas similarly.
- Cheesy Burger pakodas are ready with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
