- 1 cup plain flour, a pinch of salt, 3-4 tbsp ice- cold water
- 1/2 cup butter/ 4 tbsp margarine π
- For green chutney:
- 1 cup chopped coriander leaves, 2 green chillies chopped
- 1/2 " ginger, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp Chaat masala, saltπ§
- 1-2 tbsp chilled water
- For date tamarind chutney/ regular tamarind chutney
- 1/2 cup tamarind seedless pulp, 4-5 seedless dates
- 1/4 tsp black salt, 1/2 tsp red chillies powder πΆ️
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 2 cup water, 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 cup jaggery chopped/ powdered, 3-4 tbsp sugar
- Salt to taste π§

- Note: kindly recommended that if you like to make regular tamarind chutney, check my tamarind chutney, which I have already posted.
- Strain tamarind pulp, in a pan add, dates, tamarind pulp and water, cook for 11 mins, add jaggery/ sugar and cook till dissolved, add all the Spices, mix, simmer for 2 mins, add salt, black salt, remove from heat and let it cool, grind this mixture till smooth,add little water, while grinding, strain it, chutney is ready.
- To make green chutney, grind everything to a smooth paste, I have linked regular tamarind chutney.
- For homemade tart shells,pre-heat oven at 200c, sieve the flour and salt mix together, rub the butter into the flour with finger tips and mix well, gradually add ice- cold water and knead well to make a stiff dough and refrigerate for at least 15 mins.

- Lightly flour the rolling pin and pastry board and keep aside, knead the dough again, divide into 10 equal portions, roll out each portions of the dough into 4 "diameter circle, place each circle into a 3" diameter tart case if available, don't worry use cupcakes mould tray.
- Press the circle gently around the sides of the tart case or cupcakes mould tray, prick all over the tarts with the help of a folk and bake for 10-15 mins, cool them on wire rack and use as required.
- For making filling: heat oil, add cumin seeds, when start to crackle, add minced mutton and mix, cook on medium heat, salt.
- Cook until all the liquid of meat is dry out, add black pepper powder mix well, when tender remove from flame, let it cool down, in a bowl mix, boiled chickpeas, boiled potatoes π₯, cooked minced, red chillies powder πΆ️, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, mix well.
- To assemble: take tarts shells, and sprinkle with red chillies powder πΆ️, add filling, on top add chopped onions π§ , chopped tomato π , green chillies chutney, Tamarind chutney, boondi, nylon sev sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
