- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt

Instructions to make Koraishutir Kochuri (Bengali Peas Puri) with Aloo Dum
- Take flour in a bowl.Add the salt.Add 1 1/2 tbsp oil.Mix well so that it gets a sand like texture. Now add 1/2 cup of water gradually to the mixture and knead to form a dough.
- To make the peas paste,boil the peas and drain the water.Now grind it in the grinder and make a paste.Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadai add the peas paste in it.Add ginger paste, roasted cumin powder,red chilli powder, sugar and salt.Cook till the mixture becomes little dry.Remove from heat and keep aside.
- To make Aloo Dum, heat oil in a pan.Put cinnamon stick, cardamom pods,bay leaf,asafoetida and stir for 2 minutes. Now add the ginger paste and cook for 2 more minutes.Now add in the tomato puree,turmeric powder,chilli powder,sugar and salt and cook until oil separates.Now add in the potatoes and cook for 5 more minutes.Now pour water as required and cook covered for 20 minutes.
