  19. 1 tbs kewra water
  20. 1 tsp biryani essence
  21. For assembling
  22. 4 cups boiled rice (boil with dry condiments)
  23. 1/2 cup fried onions
  24. 2 tomatoes
  25. 1/2 cup chopped coriander
  26. 6-7 green chili whole
  27. 1 lemon juice

Steps to make White Chicken Biryani

  1. Take a pot and pour oil, heat it up first then put all dry condiments (cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, cloves, black pepper and cumin) when it starts splattering add thin slices of onions. Start frying it.
  2. Just to make the onion soft, don’t turn it to golden or crisp. Once onion turn soft and pink color, Add chicken and potatoes.
  3. Put ginger garlic paste and fry potatoes and chicken together for at least a min on high flame.
  4. Make a green paste : take coriander chopped, chillies and mint. Chopped it finely and add it into the pot.
  5. After that, add some spices; cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper, white pepper and turmeric.
  6. Add salt and fry it well
  7. Pour whipped yogurt and mix it again. Cover it for 10 mins or until chicken cooked properly on medium flame
  8. Once the chicken gravy is done. Take another pot and pour little bit oil. Then add half of the boiled biryani rice and top up tomato chunks
  9. Add some coriander, fried crispy onion and then chicken gravy
  10. Again put a layer of coriander chopped with chilli and crispy onion.
  11. Put rest of the rice and crispy onion. Squeeze a lemon on rice for more flavour. Pour a kewra water and cover it fully. Leave it for 15 mons on low flame. Uncover it and dish out the rice and enjoy my version of white rice๐Ÿ˜‹
