Steps to make Spinach Paneer Kofta Curry

  1. Take a mixing bowl, add paneer, mash it.
  2. Now add spinach, mash it again nicely.
  3. In goes salt, black pepper powder & corn flour, mix it well.
  4. Now take small portions of batter, make small koftas. Keep aside.
  5. Take maida in a dish, coat koftas with it, dust off the extra maida, keep aside.
  6. Take a wok, add good amount of oil, heat it. Add 2 koftas at a time, fry them on high flame until light brown. Fry all the koftas in the same manner.
  7. Now take another wok, add oil, heat it. Moderate the flame, add ginger garlic paste, saute it until rawness is released. Add very lil water to avoid burning.
  8. Now add onion paste, saute it until pink.
  9. In goes tomato puree, green chilli paste & salt, mix it well. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until oil has oozed out.
  10. Mix haldi, dhania & Kashmiri red chilli powder with dahi, open the lid, increase the flame, add in the masala, mix it well.
  11. Cover it again, cook it on low flame until oil has oozed out. Open the lid, add garam masala powder, stir it.
  12. Now add 2 cup boiling water, increase the flame, mix it well. Give a boil. Keep boiling for 5 minutes. Lower the flame, cover it again, cook it until a lil thick (not saucy).
  13. Turn off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes. Take out in a serving bowl, add the koftas at the time of serving, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
  14. Can be served along with Roti or Paratha...
