- 4 tbsp Tamarind pulp
- half cup Tomato paste
- 1 small Diced onion
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 15 to 20 Curry leaves
- for Garnish
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Few green chillies
- Papri
- Chat masala
Steps to make Curry chole
- In a deep pan add 2 tbsp oil and chopped onion fry for few mints or until it becomes transparent. Add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and fry for few seconds
- Add black chickpeas and potatoes. Now add tomato paste and all the spices. Mix it and Cook for 10 to 15 mints. Then add tamarind pure and cook for few more mints.
- In a blender, blend together yogurt, few curry leaves and gram flour with approximately 2 to 2.5 cups of water. Add this gram flour mixture into chickpeas and cook for 15 to 20 mints.
Serve and garnish with papri, coriander leaves, green chilies and chat masala. Enjoy 💖
