Today my recipe is dedicated to the most wonderful gift of my life, my 3 year old daughter, I always try to think of new recipes to make for her as she doesn't love to eat veggies so much, but love eating soyabean and paneer, so I have combined both and make a kofta curry and she really loved it.

Ingredients and spices that need to be Take to make Soya Paneer kofta curry:

  1. 100 gms soya chunks
  2. 75 gms grated paneer
  3. 1 tbsp Cornflour
  4. 1 tsp cumin powder
  5. 2 tsp garam masala powder
  6. 2 boiled onion paste
  7. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  8. 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  9. 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  10. 1 inch Cinnamon
  11. 2 cardamom
  12. 2-3 cloves
  13. 2 tbsp cashew nut paste
  14. 2 tbsp curd
  15. 1 tsp sugar
  16. 1 tsp coriander powder
  17. to taste Salt
  18. 1/2 tsp kasoori meethi
  19. 1 tbsp fresh cream
  20. as required Oil

Steps to make Soya Paneer kofta curry

  1. Boil soya chunks in water for 10 minutes, drain excess water, squeeze them properly and then grind into paste.
  2. In a bowl add soyachunks paste, grated paneer, cumin powder, garam masala powder, salt and cornflour and mix them properly.
  3. Take small portion of mixture and make medium size balls from it. Heat oil in pan and fry the koftas in medium flame.
  4. To make gravy heat oil in pan, add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves saute till fragnant, then add onion paste and saute for few seconds, add ginger garlic paste and tomato ketchup, saute on medium flame.
  5. Now add cashew nut paste, salt, sugar, coriander powder, kashmiri red chilli powder and curd and mix them all properly.
  6. Now add 1/2 cup water and cook on medium flame for few minutes, now add garam masala powder, cream and kasoori meethi and mix. Serve with paratha, naan or any type of rice.
