- 2 cup vermicelli,
- 3 tbsp oil,
- 1/2 tsp Rai,
- 2 green chilli chopped finely,
- 1 med sized onion thinly sliced,
- 3 green chilli slitted,
- 1/2 tsp grated garlic,
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger,
- Veggies...
- 1/4 cup finely diced carrot
- 1/4 cup diced all three bell pepper,
- 1/4 cup finely chopped beans,
- 1/2 cu p boiled matar,
- to taste, Salt
- 1/2 tsp haldi powder,
- 1/4 tsp garam masala powder,
- as required Some chopped dhania patta,
Steps to make Vermicelli Upma
- Firstly take a deep bottom pan, add good amount of water. Now add 1 tsp salt & 1 tbsp oil, let it boil.


- In goes vermicelli, cook it until 70% cooked. Strain it, put it under running water, keep aside.


- Take a wok, add rest of the oil, heat it. Add Rai, let it splutter. Now add green chilli chopped, saute it for a sec.



- In goes onion & slitted green chilli, stir fry it until pink. Add ginger garlic now, saute it until rawness is released.



- In goes now veggies, salt & haldi powder, mix it well. Stir fry it for a minute.


- Add vermicelli now, stir fry it gently for 5 minutes.


- In goes garam masala powder & dhania patta, give a stir.


- Turn off the flame, take out in a serving dish.
