Potato balls in a spicy saucy gravy ( dry )

- 3 big boiled potato
- 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
- 2-3 finely chopped green chilli
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
- as per taste Salt
- 3 tbsp Corn flour / Maida
- as required Oil for frying
- 1 tbsp corn flour (for coating)
- Gravy
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 2 green chilli
- 1 medium onion chopped in cubes
- 1 cup capsicum chopped in cubes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp schezwan sauce
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- as per taste Salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp corn flour (optional)
- as required Few Spring onion greens (for garnish)
- 2-3 tbsp Oil
Instructions to make Spicy Potato Manchurian
- Mash boiled potatoes and add carrot, green chilli, salt, corn flour, coriander and give a good mix, it will take form of a dough. Pinch medium size portion from dough and make balls. Coat balls in corn flour and keep aside.



- Deep fry balls till golden brown and keep aside.


- In moderately heated pan, add oil, add garlic and sauté for few seconds, add ginger paste + onion + chilli and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add capsicum + pepper powder and sauté for few minutes till capsicum turns soft yet crunchy.


- Now add all sauce one after another + vinegar + salt, mix well and cook for 2 minutes under medium flame. Now add 1/2 cup water and cook for 2-3 minutes, lastly add the balls and mix well so that the balls coats well with gravy. In this stage corn flour slurry can be added if want gravy.



- Garnish with spring onion greens / coriander stems, Potato Manchurian is ready to serve.
