  4. 1/4 turmeric powder

  6. 1/2 sugar

  9. 2 green chilli
  10. 1 inch ginger
  11. 4- 5 garlic cloves
  12. 1/2 cup curd
  13. For corn capsicum masala
  14. 1 cup boiled
  15. 1 capsicum pieces
  16. 3 tbsp oil
  17. 2 tsp butter
  18. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  19. 1 inch cinemon
  20. 1 bay leaf
  21. 2 medium size chopped onion
  22. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  23. 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  24. 1 tsp coriander powder
  25. 1 tsp cumin powder
  26. As Required Tomato puree
  27. as required Curd
  28. 3/4 cup water or as required
  29. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  30. 1 tsp kasuri methi

Instructions to make Corn capsicum masala subzi

  1. Firstly,in a pan add water,corn kernels, turmeric powder,salt and sugar. Boil corn kernels for 2 or 3 minutes.
  2. After 2 or 3 minutes, sieve water from boiled corn kernels.
  3. Now in a mixture jar,add tomatoes, green chilli, ginger and garlic paste.
  4. Grind it into a smooth paste.
  5. In a kadai,add 3 tbsp oil and capsicum pieces.saute till capsicum become slightly soft.
  6. Then add 1 tbsp butter in a pan,add cumin seeds,bay leaf, cinnamon and cardamom.
  7. Then add chopped onion and saute until onion comes golden brown.
  8. Further add turmeric powder, Red chilli powder, cumin powder and some water.saute until the spices turn aromatic.
  9. Then add tomato gravy and salt.
  10. Cover and cook tomatoes till become soft and Mashy. And oil separates from them.
  11. Now add curd in masala gravy and cook till it separates oil from the side.
  12. Then add boiled corn kernels and capsicum pieces.mix well
  13. Add 3/4 cup water and mix adjusting consistency as required.
    Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  14. Add butter and coriander and mix well for 2 minutes.
  15. Finally serve corn capsicum masala with grated paneer and enjoy with roti and naan.

    Garam masala and kasuri methi give a nice smell and flavour to the subzi.
    Grated paneer makes curry Creamy and tasty. You can also use cheese in place of panner.
    Sabzi tastes great when serve sweets and spicy.
