  2. 250 grams carrot
  3. 2-3 green chilli
  4. 2 medium tomato
  5. 1 medium ginger
  6. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1/2 tsp coriander powder,
  8. 1/4 tsp turmeric,
  9. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder,
  10. 1/2 tsp garam masala,
  11. as per taste salt

Instructions to make Carrot Peas curry

  1. Make a smooth paste of tomato + ginger + green chilli.
  2. Assemble all ingredients
  3. In moderately heated pan, add oil + ghee, add cumin seeds and allow to crackle, then add tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Then add all spices except garam masala and stir fry till spices leaves oil.
  5. Now add chopped carrot and stir fry for around 2-3 minutes, then cover and cook carrot in medium flame.
    Carrot will release water. If required water can be added.
  6. Now add boiled peas + garam masala + chopped coriander, mix well and sauté for few seconds.
  7. Add 1/4 - 1/2 cup water as per required gravy, check for salt and cook / simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  8. Now curry is ready to serve.
