  4. 2 tbsp oil
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add bay leaf and cumin seeds and allow to splutter.
  2. Add onion and fry till golden brown. Takes 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Mix ginger and garlic paste and saute till rawness is gone.
  4. Now add tomato puree and chilli powder, kasoori methi dry leaves. Cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
  5. Add salt and turmeric powder, kasoori methi dry leaves and saute for 2-3 minutes till oil is separated from masala with a nice flavour.
  6. Mix rest of the dry masala and cook the masala on low heat. Add potato chunks and cook for 2 minutes and mix the required amount of water.
  7. Bring to boil and serve the delicious potato curry after garnishing with coriander leaves.
