Ingredients and spices that need to be Get to make Veg Poha:
- 250 gm poha or flattened rice,
- 4 tbsp oil,
- 1/4 tsp Rai,
- 4 green chilli chopped finely,
- 1 med sized onion chopped finely,
- 1/2 tsp grated garlic,
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger,
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1/2 cup boiled matar,
- 1/2 cup diced boiled aloo,
- 1/2 tomato roughly chopped,
- 1/2 tsp haldi powder,
- to taste, Salt
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,
Instructions to make Veg Poha
- Firstly wash poha, strain it, keep aside.


- Take a wok, add oil, heat it. Add Rai, let it splutter.


- In goes green chilli, saute it for a minute. Add onions now, stir fry it until pink.



- In goes ginger garlic, saute it until rawness is released.

- Now add peanuts, stir fry it for a minute. In goes matar & aloo, stir fry it for a minute.



- Add in tomato 🍅, haldi powder & salt, mix it well. Cook it for a minute.


- Add poha now, mix it well. Stir fry it for a minute. Add in garam masala powder, mix it well.



- Sprinkle lil water, lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it for 7 minutes.

- Turn off the flame, open the lid after 5 minutes.

- Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.

- A good breakfast dish..
