  2. 4 medium size boiled potatoes
  3. 1 medium size onion
  4. 1 cup boiled sweet corn
  5. 1 green chili chopped
  6. 1 tsp chat masala
  7. 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  8. As Per Taste Salt
  9. 2 tbsp rice flour
  10. 1 tsp oil
  11. As required Cheese cubes(optional)
  12. For coating
  13. 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  14. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  15. As per taste Salt
  16. 2 tbsp corn flour(makke ka aata)

Steps to make Sweet-Corn Cutlet

  1. Boil the potatoes till fork tender. Mash the potatoes and mix it with salt, chat masala and rice flour. Mix well. It should be like a soft dough. Keep aside.
  2. In a pan heat 1 tsp oil. Add chopped onions and saute well to turn translucent. Add boiled corns and green chilies. Saute for a minute. Add salt and keep aside.
  3. Now for coating mix well all-purpose flour and salt and black pepper powder. Add ¾ cup water to make a thin slurry. Make sure there are no lumps. Keep aside.
  4. Now take a potato mixture. Make patty and then put some corn and onion masala in between the patty put one small cube of cheese (optional). Cover it firmly and roll into a round and flat patty. Make all the Patties. You can freeze these patties in a freezer for 2 days.
  5. Heat oil in a shallow pan. Dip each party in a coating mix. Then roll this patty in maize/ corn flour. Place the patties and shallow fry on both sides until golden. Remove the cutlets and drain them on paper towels.
  6. Your Sweet Corn cutlets are ready to be served. Serve them with green coriander chutney or simple ketchup.
