Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Chole:

  1. 1 tin boiled chickpeas (chole)(400grams)
  2. 1 potato
  3. 2 tomatoes (puréed)
  4. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  5. 2 tablespoons oil
  6. 1/2 cup water
  7. 1/4 cup coriander leaves
  8. 1/2 lemon juice
  9. Spices:-
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  12. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  13. 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  14. 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  15. 1 tablespoon butter / ghee for garnishing

Instructions to make Chole

  1. Firstly boil potato & roughly mash it further blend tomatoes to purée & take a Kadhai add oil crackle cumin seeds and add ginger garlic paste sauté for a minute & pop the tomatoes purée cook until raw smell disappears meanwhile add all spices then add mashed potatoes & mix it cook for another 2 minutes & add boiled chickpeas (chole) add 1/2 cup water & cook.
  2. Once everything in infused well cook till the water is soaked in chole and oil separates.garnish with coriander leaves & drizzle lemon juice & enjoy.
