Ingredients and spices that need to be Take to make Egg curry:

  1. For making EGG CURRY you will need
  2. 4 eggs (boiled, cooled and peeled and slightly sauteed)
  3. 30 ml mustard oil
  4. 1 large onion chopped small
  5. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  6. 1 large tomato
  7. 1 tsp poppy seeds soaked in water for 2 hours
  8. 1 cardamom, 2 cloves, few black peppercorns
  9. 1 fresh green chilli
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Dry Masalas 👇
  12. 1/4 th tsp+ 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  14. 1/4 th tsp sugar
  15. 1 tsp coriander powder
  16. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  17. 1 tsp curry powder
  18. 1/4 th tsp garam masala
  19. Kasuri methi
  20. as needed Water

Instructions to make Egg curry

  1. Chop onion and keep aside.
    Prepare tomato puree with soaked poppy seeds, green chillies, cardamom, cloves and black peppercorns.
  2. Next heat oil. Put slit on boiled eggs. Put them into oil on slow heat.
    Add salt and turmeric powder. Slightly saute them.
  3. Remove the sauteed eggs into a vessel and keep aside.
  4. Now into the oil put chopped onion. Saute till brownish.
  5. Next add the prepared tomato puree and ginger garlic paste. Cook for some time.
    Then add salt, sugar and rest all the mentioned dry masalas except garam masala. Cook the masala till it leaves oil and changes colour.
  6. As masala gives an awesome aroma, add water as preferred.
    Let it come to boil. Add garam masala. Boil for some more time.
    Then add the sauteed eggs.
    Let it cook. Let the eggs absorb all the flavours of the masala.
    Cook till the preferred consistency.
  7. Then add kasuri methi. Give a mix.
    Yummy egg curry is ready!!
