  2. 1 cup wheat flour
  3. 1 tablespoon dry methi leaves
  4. 1 tablespoon besan
  5. Pinch asafoetida (heeng)
  6. 1 tsp ajwain
  7. As Per Taste Salt
  8. For tamatar aloo
  9. 3-4 boiled potatoes
  10. 2 tomatoes (boiled and puréed)
  11. 1/2 inch ginger (grated)
  12. 1-2 green chilli (chopped)
  13. For Spices
  14. 1 tsp jeera
  15. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  16. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  17. 2 tsp coriander powder
  18. 1 tsp amchur powder
  19. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  20. 1 tablespoon desi ghee
  21. As Required Oil for frying

Instructions to make Aloo poori

  1. Knead the dough with all ingredients and keep it aside. The dough should not be so soft not so tight. Sprinkle some oil and give some rest to the dough.
  2. Heat a pan and add ghee. Then add jeera, ginger, and green chili fry for 1 minute. After that add tomato purée and fry for 3-4 minutes or until it releases the fat. After that add all spices.
  3. Then add boiled and little mashed potatoes and fry for 1 minute. Then add water snd cook it until it becomes a little thick. Add seasoning and fresh coriander leaves. Aloo tamatar is ready.
  4. Heat oil in a Kadai and make small balls. Keep balls for some time (2-3 minutes). Then make small poori and fry them in hot oil.
    Perfect Lunch or brunch in the winter season.
