  7. 5 tbsp Coriander powder
  8. 1 pack Haleem masala
  9. 4 Bay leaves
  10. 4 Cardamom
  11. 6 Cinnamon sticks
  12. 10-12 Cloves
  13. 8 Black pepper
  14. 1/2 cup Oil
  15. To taste Salt
  16. Other ingredients:
  17. 1 kg wheat
  18. 1 kg barley
  19. 1 bowl rice
  20. 1 bowl Daal chana
  21. 1 bowl Daal mash
  22. 1 bowl Daal masoor
  23. Assembling:
  24. Boiled barley and wheat
  25. Shredded beef with gravy
  26. Boiled pulses and rice
  27. Salt to taste
  28. 2 tbsp Garam masala powder
  29. For garnish and tarka :
  30. 1/2 kg oil
  31. Onions
  32. Mint leaves bunch
  33. Chaat masala
  34. Fried onions
  35. Sliced green chillies

Steps to make Degi Daleem

  1. For gravy add beef in a pan then add sliced onions and ginger garlic paste and all spices and salt...
  2. Then add oil and water and cover and let it cook until done
  3. Then shred beef and then boil pulses and rice together and barley and wheat separately and mix them later
  4. Then add boiled wheat and barley in a Daig then add shredded beef with gravy and then add rice and pulses mixture and mix then all together..
  5. Then add salt and Garam masala and continue mixing it...then add oil in a pan add onions
  6. When onions golden brown then add mint leaves and chaat masala and pour tarka over it and serve by garnishing fried onions sliced green chillies and chopped Coriander and serve...
