Peas Stuffed Samosa is my mother's favourite recipe which she use to prepare in winters. It’s super easy to prepare. Green peas and potatoes are blended with spices for a warm, satisfying stuffed samosas.

Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Peas Stuffed Samosa:

  1. For preparing covering :
  2. 1/2 bowl All-purpose flour
  3. 1 tbsp fine semolina
  4. 2 tbsp cooking oil for moyan
  5. as per taste Salt
  6. as required water
  7. For making stuffing :
  8. 2 Boiled potatoes
  9. 1/2 bowl peas
  10. 1 Green chilli
  11. 1 tbsp cooking oil
  12. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  13. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  14. as per taste salt
  15. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  16. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  17. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  18. 1/4 tsp coriander seeds powder
  19. 1/4 tsp mango powder
  20. Other :
  21. as needed Cooking Oil for deep frying
  22. 2 tbsp chutney for serving

Steps to make Peas Stuffed Samosa

  1. Add all-purpose flour and semolina in a mixing bowl. Add salt and cooking Oil and mix well and try to bind it as muthiya. Now add water slowly and make a tight dough. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Keep green peas in hot water for 10 minutes and then remove the water and transfer peas in a plate. Peel and mash boiled potatoes in a plate. Chop green chilli.
  3. Heat a pan. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put green peas and saute for 2 minute on low flame. Add salt, red chilli, turmeric, coriander seeds, and mango powder. Add mashed potatoes and mix well and saute for 2 minutes. Add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Stuffing is ready.
  4. Now knead the dough again for 1 minute. Take a small portion of dough and make a ball. Roll it with the help of rolling pin in round shape. Cut it from centre in 2 parts.
  5. Now bring the edges of half chapatti in centre and apply little water with fingers on one side and overlap the other side on watered layer and make a cone.
  6. Stuff 2 tb spoon of the prepared stuffing in cone and seal from upper side with soft hands. Like wise make all the samosas.
  7. Heat cooking oil in a wok and deep fry samosas till golden brown colour on medium low flame. Fry all samosas and remove it in a plate.
  8. Serve hot with chutney.
