  8. 1/4 tablespoon jeera
  9. pinch heeng
  10. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  11. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  12. 2 tablespoon coriander powder
  13. 1/2 tablespoon black pepper powder
  14. 1/2 tablespoon dry mango powder
  15. 1/2 tablespoon garam masala
  16. as per taste Salt
  17. 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  18. 1 Bay leaf
  19. 1 tablespoon meat masala
  20. as required Fresh coriander

Steps to make Aloo chole

  1. Heat mustard oil in kadhai and add bay leaf, jeera, ajwain and heeng.
  2. Now add grated onion and cook for a minute.
  3. Than add green chillies and ginger garlic paste and cook till it's Raw aroma goes.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Now take a bowl add coriander powder, turmeric powder, Red chilli powder and salt and mix it with little water to make a paste of all spices.
  6. Add this spice mixture into kadhai and mix it, add some water and cover the lid and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add meat masala and cook it till oil starts separate.
  8. Add chole and potatoes and half glass of water and mix well.
  9. Cook for 5 minutes or till the gravy thickens.
  10. Now add meat masala and garam masala and give a gentle mix.
  11. Turn off the flame and add lemon juice and green chillies.
