Instructions to make Egg biriyani

  1. First boil the eggs, let it cool down and peel.
  2. Take a pan, heat a little bit of oil. Add haldi powder, red chilli powder and biriyani masala. Sauté the eggs for a few seconds. Cut in half and keep aside.
  3. In the same pan, heat 2 tbsp ghee. Once heated, add cinnamon stick, whole red chilli, black Cardamon, green Cardamon and star anise with sliced onion and sauté till golden brown.
  4. Add chilli ginger garlic paste and sauté for few seconds. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
  5. Add all dry masalas and mix well. Then add 2tbsp curd and salt, then mix well.
  6. Now keep the gravy into a different bowl. Add first layer rice into the first pan where we cooked the gravy.
  7. Now add fried onions coriander and mint leaves and gravy on top
  8. Now add the cut boiled eggs and once again add the rice on top and then fried onions and gravy. Continue these steps one more time
  9. Sprinkle saffron milk on top and cover with a lid. Seal the lid around with dough. Cook for 10-15 min in low medium heat. Your delicious tasty yummy egg biryani is ready. Serve with curd or raita.
