  25. 500 ml oil for frying

  1. In a mixing bowl take all-purpose flour,add other ingredients.Crumble for 2-3minutes.Add water to form a semi soft dough.Cover and keep aside.
  2. Now heat a pan,add oil.Add cumin seeds and asafoetida.Let cumin seeds crackle.Add ginger and garlic.Saut 30 seconds.
  3. Add onion and gteen chillies.Fry till translucent.
  4. Add boiled peas,salt and all spices.Mix and mash a little.
  5. Add chickpea flour,saute 2 minutes on low flame till raw smell of chickpea flour is gone.
  6. Put off flame,add chopped coriander leave.Let the stuffing cool.
  7. Pinch out a ball size dough,roll/spread it.Fill 1 tbsp stuffing.Fold and seal the edges and make a kachodi.Prepare all like this.
  8. Slightly heat oil,fry kachodis on low flame till golden.The time taken for frying 1 batch is about 13-15 minutes.
  9. When golden take out.
  10. Serve hot with tari wale aloo.
